How Does it Work?
After purchasing this service, you will receive an email within a few minutes (check your spam folder just in case) containing a link to a form to fill out. This form will tell us exactly what you are looking for and give you the ability to upload your image(s). You must complete this form, or we will not be able to create your template!
Your Image
The images you provide are the images used for your template. Please be sure to only send high quality, high-resolution images for the best results! There are a few tricks we use to make your images look their best, but a low-resolution blurry image cannot magically be made to look amazing. If the images provided are not suitable for printing, we will contact you.
Image Types Supported
All image types! JPEG, JPG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, SVG, BMP, PSD (Adobe Photoshop), AI (Adobe Illustrator), INDD (Adobe InDesign), AFPHOTO (Affinity Photo), AFDESIGN (Affinity Designer), AFPUB (Affinity Publisher), and many more!
You can even send Canva projects! Instructions for Canva are included in the email you receive after placing your order.
PDF files are also accepted, but always require image editing.
What does “Is Image Editing Required?” mean?
Image editing means you would like something beyond creating a template. If you have a special request, head over to Contact and send a message describing what you need. Edible Tech Guru can do custom graphic design for an additional fee and will provide you with a quote.
Some examples of when image editing is required include:
You are uploading a PDF.
You have a person in an image you want, but you want them on a different background or no background.
You have two images you would like to be combined into a single image for your product.
You have a color image, but you want it in black and white, or sepia.
You want a message added to the image (for example, happy birthday, happy anniversary, save the date, etc.).

What Makes the ETG Method Special?
After many hours of experimentation, Stacey, The Edible Tech Guru, developed a special two-file method for printing on food products using his Blue Food Printer. This method guarantees that the target frame will never be printed on your food product, even if the food product is not perfectly aligned!

How Long Does it Take?
Typical turnaround time is 2–3 business days. Under certain circumstances it may take a little longer, but we will communicate with you in the event this is an issue. If you have any questions or need an especially fast turnaround, please head over to Contact to send a message and we will let you know if your schedule can be accommodated.
What if I Need Cookie Cutters, Too?
You came to the right place then! Edible Tech Guru can design your cookie cutter that is ready for 3D printing. If you don’t have a 3D printer, we can also print and ship your cutter. Get more information here.
How Can I be Sure I Like What I Get?
Every order for a Blue Template is treated with the same care as a graphic design project. Before your order is finalized, we send you a proof sample of the template for your approval. If something needs to be changed, you can let us know at that time. If you are happy with the results, then we send you the final version.
Do You Offer a Subscription Service?
Absolutely! If you are a super busy producer and need template creation and graphic design service, Edible Tech Guru happy to help! Head over to Contact and send a message describing what you need, and we will be in touch with you to give you a price. If you order a Blue Template now, are so pleased with the results and start a subscription within 30 days, we will discount the cost of your first Blue Template from your first month’s subscription!
Limitations and Restrictions
Certain limitations and restrictions are necessary, and you should be aware of them before purchasing this service.
NO ARTWORK SUBMITTED: In the event you place an order but do not fill out the form to submit artwork within one week (7 days) of placing the order, your order will be considered fulfilled, and no refund or credit will be issued.
NO COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL: Under no circumstances will Edible Tech Guru, LLC use material which is copyrighted without permission from the copyright holder. When you submit your image(s), you must attest that you have the permission of the owner of the artwork being used, and agree to hold Edible Tech Guru, LLC harmless for any damages caused by using unreleased copyrighted material. In the event you submit copyrighted artwork and do not attest that you have the permission of the owner, it will be considered No Artwork Submitted as described above.
NO PHOTOGRAPHIC NUDITY: Under no circumstances will Edible Tech Guru, LLC use material containing photographic nudity due to the inability to be assured of the consent of the subject photographed. In the event you submit photographic nudity, it will be considered No Artwork Submitted as described above.
ZERO TOLERANCE OF CHILD ABUSE: If you submit an image which appears to contain child pornography and/or depictions of child abuse, Edible Tech Guru, LLC will contact local authorities, the United States Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and/or other Local/State/Federal agencies to report a potential crime; and the order will be considered No Artwork Submitted as described above.
NO HATE SPEECH OR HATE MESSAGES: Under no circumstances will Edible Tech Guru, LLC use material containing hate speech or hate messaging. This includes, but is not limited to, racial slurs, malicious stereotypes, discriminatory messages, messages with the intent to incite hatred and/or violence, and nonverbal depictions of hate speech symbols (e.g., Nazi swastika, Confederate Battle Flag, etc.). In the event you submit material containing hate speech or hate messages, it will be considered No Artwork Submitted as described above.
FINAL DECISION: The determination of an image or message submitted being in violation of any restrictions listed hereon, or in the Terms and Conditions of this site, is held exclusively by Edible Tech Guru, LLC, and our decision is final. In the event of a violation no refund or credit will be issued.
